« on: January 16, 2014, 09:34:02 AM »
I made a purchase from this website and only after i paid i realized it is a scam. I messaged them to cancel my order. i cannot contact them in any way. no phone number no address no mail no nothing . you can only write to them on their webwsite. where could i write a complaint? I feel so stupid..i was so excited about buying those that i did not pay attention to those details and everything seems so wrong about this. when i try to access the link that i made the payment through http://icpayment.com/ it says "web error Sorry,
网站维护中,如为您带来不便,敬请见谅。 " translating those with google translate results in raybanoutlet-spain.com

how can i get my money back?

How did you make payment ?

If you made payment via your credit card, call the bank/card company and explain that you have been scammed and mention that it's a chinese company. if you paid via paypal then you can raise a dispute.

i made the payment with the credit card and i called the bank and told them that it is a scam but i was told that to get my money back i have to receive a mail confirmation from the company( meaning the "ray-ban company") that i cancelled my order. i sent two messages on the website (bcs if u verify theres no other way to contact them) and i ve got no answer. Still on my account the order appears to be "pending" and it is kind of weird to be pending after an entire working day (i cancelled it last night)

I don't think that "website" will send you an email showing you 'canceled" your order as they "want" your money or they wouldn't have setup the scam website to begin with!

It sounds like your credit card/bank wants to be an ass (but they also need to in order to protect themselves).

You may need to go the long route:

Go to the official Ray-Ban website:
http://www.ray-ban.com/usa/

Use the Contact-Us in the footer.  Ask Ray-Ban to "verify" if the website (hxxp://raybanoutlet-spain.com) is an "authorized" retailer for Ray-Ban.

That this "verification" is needed for your Credit Card company (bank) as you think you were scammed and need to show your credit card company proof that the website is Illegal and selling counterfeit Ray-Ban merchandise.

Tell Ray-Ban you also noticed that they have already taken action on the website
(hxxp://rayban-spainoutlet.com) - (now redirects to: http://gbcinternetenforcement.net/13-8824) and suspect that the scam website has "changed" their domain name to continue selling Ray-Ban counterfeit goods.

Then send the "Official Ray-Ban" reply to your credit card company (bank).

Also let your credit card (bank) know you are contacting Ray-Ban for verification of the website and ask them this entered this "dispute" into your account in case a reply from Ray-Ban is delayed.  This way you will have proof with them that you disputed the charge before it was to late.

Thank you, I will try this way because you were right. After i sent a 3rd message regarding my cancellation i received an email telling me that the order has already been shipped. Wonder how they couldn't "have seen" that i cancelled my order right after i made the purchase. They couldn't have shipped at 12 in the midnight. Should i accept the package when it arrives?

Re: "After i sent a 3rd message regarding my cancellation i received an email telling me that the order has already been shipped."

☛ And this is normal, they reply only after you complain to cancel!  And of course they already shipped it as they hope you will not continue to cancel it thinking its too late to do so.  And they gave you a "valid" tracking number also, right?

Re: "Wonder how they couldn't "have seen" that i cancelled my order right after i made the purchase."

☛ They did, but they want your money and to delay you in canceling it they will put off contacting you.

Re: "They couldn't have shipped at 12 in the midnight."

☛ (consider the time zone) - They may have just told you they shipped it as most people will just say ok, the heck with it and let it go.

Re: "Should i accept the package when it arrives?"

☛ That's your choice:
⌦ You already know they will be counterfeit (of unknown quality).
⌦ You also could face "import tax/custom fee's" or seizure of counterfeit goods (depending on how they mark the package).

☛ If you accept the package, then you have other choices to make;
⌦ Keep it, no warranty (could break in a month)!  Your loss!
⌦ Return it for a website credit (or a very small refund, if any), as most scam sites don't want to return money they already have.  If they even play like a website, you could also face a "restock fee" as they want to suck you for everything they can.  And you also need to pay return shipping and any import tax, as you are shipping it to china!  This could/will cost more than the initial purchase (again your loss), and they know this and expect you to just say forget about it, and accept the counterfeit item and take the loss.

☛ If you do not accept the package when it arrives.  Then they suck the return fee and "will" try to charge this to your credit card!
⌦ For this you need to make sure your credit card company is going to cancel the charge and do a "charge-back".
⌦ You should also ask for a new card to keep the website from trying to charge against it again (return postage and tax), or have the credit card company place a block on the website from any charges.  Replacement card is the best and safest way to protect you.

☛ If you receive the items, then the website has fulfilled its part of the purchase and this makes it harder for you to get any recourse from your credit card company!  As they did send you what you purchased.

Post back what happens!
